NUNO SAMORA was born in Lisbon in 1977. Light Designer, Light and Stage Technician. He holds a degree in Theatre – Production Branch, at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC). He currently works at the Maria Matos Theatre as a light and stage technician, while freelancer, is the technical director and light designer of Teatro da Garagem. He has already worked in most of the theatres in Lisbon (National Theatre D. Maria II, São Luiz Municipal Theatre, Teatro Mário Viegas Theatre, Maria Matos Theatre, Camões Theatre, Villaret Theatre, Southern Theatre), as well as throughout the country.

His career in theatre started in 1999 by the Carnide Theatre Group, where he worked with directors such as João Ricardo, Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo Gajeiro, developing works in several fields of theatre: Set Design, Light Design, Sound Design, Stage Management and Executive Production. He worked as a Light Designer for the Tenda Clowns of the World Cultural Association, for Sola do Sapato Producer, actor and director Almeno Gonçalves, where he was Technical Director and Lighting and Sound Designer. He was Technical Manager at the Comuna Teatro de Pesquisa. He collaborates regularly with the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola.
