LIBERDADE WORKSHOP

Within the scope of the presentation of the show L.I.B.E.R.D.A.D.E. a cine theatre in nine letters and with the celebrations of the 25^th of April as background, the Teatro da Garagem team prompts a workshop dedicated to thinking about Freedom with the youngest as a conduit for freedom of speech and collective imagination through Theatre.
The LIBERDADE workshop is fundamentally based on the theme of the Carnation Revolution, teaching the participating children how important that decisive moment was in order to envision changes in the portuguese culture, towards freedom. A path that even now we still have to tread day after day.
The participants will be challenged to partake in a human board game, in which they will have to complete tasks and surpass countless obstacles. Teamwork, union, intelligence, persistence, courage and sensitivity will all be important elements to accomplish this challenge, just as they were for the ones who dared to carry out the Revolution of April 25, 1974.
