2019 Selections – Translated plays

 

 

EURODRAMis an independent European theatre translation network covering European, Mediterranean and Central Asian languages. EURODRAM’s main objective is to promote contemporary plays from across the wider European area to theatre professionals and theatre audiences and to support the work of theatre translators.
Eurodram, European network for drama in translation, is delighted to announce the 2019 selection of translated texts, recommended for production and publication. These have been chosen by the 300 members of the 32 language committees, from the 365 translated plays received in 2018.
For your information, it is from English, German and Italian, and into English, French and German, that the network received the highest number of translations.
